31 Jul New Hayman Reese Towbars Now Available — Foton Tunland & Mitsubishi Outlander, Fitted Right Here in Ballarat
Two more vehicles just joined the list of what we can hook a trailer, van or float to — Hayman Reese has released Heavy Duty Class 4 towbars for the new Foton Tunland P4 V9 and the incoming Mitsubishi Outlander ZM MY26, and we’ve got both in stock at Ballarat Trailers & Towbars.
Foton Tunland P4 V9 (6/2025 on) — Part 03596RW
If you’ve picked up one of the new Tunland P4 V9s for work or weekends away, this one’s built to match it. Rated to 3500kg towing with a 350kg ball weight, it’s a genuine Class 4 Heavy Duty unit — enough for a decent van, a loaded box trailer or a horse float, not just a bike rack and a tinny.
Mitsubishi Outlander ZM MY26 (3/2026 on) — Part 03648RW
The new MY26 Outlander lands with a purpose-built Hayman Reese towbar to suit — rated to 1600kg towing with a 160kg ball weight, right for a family van, jet ski or small trailer. Note: it needs the matching 04943 tail harness for the wiring to work correctly, which we’ll sort as part of the fit.

Every Hayman Reese towbar is designed using FEA (finite element analysis) engineering and load-tested in their own NATA-accredited laboratory at their Melbourne production facility — not just built to a template and hoped for. Both of these come standard with a 50mm square hitch receiver, chrome hitch collar, a removable towball mount with 50mm towball, and rated D-shackles, finished in black powdercoat. Hayman Reese backs the original owner with a lifetime warranty on the towbar itself.
