Today’s job in the workshop was one we always enjoy: an EFS Stockman bull bar on a Next-Gen Ford Ranger.
A bumper replacement bar
The Stockman is a bumper replacement style bar, which means the factory front bumper comes off and the bar takes its place. That gives a solid, purpose built look at the front of the ute and a strong frame across the grille and headlights.
What went into the fit
A bar like this is more than a few bolts. On this Ranger our team:
- removed the factory bumper and prepared the mounting points
- trimmed a small section of the front wheel arch flare so the bar sits neatly
- carried the parking sensors over into the holders on the new bar
- lined everything up so the gaps are even and the bar sits square
The Ranger spent several hours on our four post hoist, which gives the guys good access underneath and lets them take their time getting it right.
