The Kia Tasman broke cover as Kia’s first proper dual-cab ute, and it’s already earning its keep — loaded with fencing gear during the week, hooked up to the boat or van on the weekend. Factory mirrors were never going to cut it once you’re towing something wider than the tray, so Clearview has built a purpose-made towing mirror for the Tasman, and we’ve got them in stock at Ballarat Trailers & Towbars.
Built for a ute that does both jobs
Whether you’re reversing a loaded box trailer up the driveway on a Tuesday or backing the boat down the ramp on a Saturday, the Tasman’s factory mirrors leave you guessing what’s either side of a wide load. Clearview’s towing mirrors extend up to 180mm past the vehicle for towing, then retract back close to the factory profile for the daily commute — so they’re not in the way when you don’t need them.
Two designs, your choice
Compact mirrors keep the factory look — a single large convex mirror plus the extra visibility of the towing extension. Next Gen mirrors go dual-mirror: a large flat top for reversing and hitching up, plus a smaller convex mirror for a wider read on what’s happening around the vehicle. Both use a telescopic 2-stage extension giving you three towing positions, and they won’t retract mid-tow when a road train goes past. Available in black, chrome or raw finish.
Keep your factory tech
These are true replacement mirrors — same fitting points as the factory mirror, and everything your Tasman already came with carries through: heated glass, blind spot monitoring, indicators, power-fold (standard on SX+, X-Line and the upcoming X-Pro), and 360° camera provision on the higher trims. Nothing lost, only added visibility. (Feature availability varies by trim.)
